Revenue Sources Policy for Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi (JUTI)

Purpose:
Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi (JUTI) acknowledges that financial stability and transparent resource management are essential for its long-term success. This policy describes the principles and permitted sources of funding for JUTI, considering the institutional support provided by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia, as well as possible assistance from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbud RI) through its Scholarly Journal Management program. The aim is to safeguard both the integrity and sustainability of JUTI’s financial operations.

Policy:

Institutional Support from ITS

  • JUTI may obtain budgetary assistance from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) to cover expenses such as editorial operations, technological infrastructure, and related needs.
  • All funds received from ITS will be managed following the university’s financial procedures and JUTI’s internal financial policies.

Support from Kemdikbud RI

  • JUTI may qualify for Scholarly Journal Management Assistance provided by Kemdikbud RI to strengthen its editorial and publication processes.
  • Any funding from Kemdikbud RI will be managed in accordance with the ministry’s requirements, and detailed financial records of its usage will be maintained for accountability.

Revenue Generation

  • JUTI may develop income-generating strategies to enhance its quality, expand its reach, and sustain its operations.
  • These strategies may include, but are not limited to, charging article processing fees for accepted manuscripts, forming sponsorship collaborations with industry partners, and offering advertisement placements in the journal.

Financial Transparency

  • JUTI is committed to open and responsible financial reporting, ensuring periodic disclosure of revenue sources and expenditures.
  • Such reports will be available to relevant stakeholders, including Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Kemdikbud RI.

Compliance and Accountability

  • All parties involved in JUTI’s activities, including the editorial team, authors, and reviewers, are expected to adhere to this policy and ensure proper use of financial resources.
  • Financial management will follow the applicable regulations of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
